Youth Cycling

Steamboat Springs is a family town. Just as skiing is taught to our children in schools, teaching our children safe cycling and instilling a joy in the sport, whether competitive or non-competitive, is a meaningful part of our mission.

Through the Larry Johnson Memorial Scholarship Fund, RCR contributes funding for youth-cycling development.  In 2010, through a unique partnership with SSWSC Cycling, RCR will contribute scholarship money for athletes to train, travel, and compete across the region and at National Championships in 2010, and RCR will reduce the cost of entry-level cycling programs to RCR family members.
